Talk
Maker Night
Eindhoven, The Netherlands
makerdays.nl/maker-night →At Maker Night in Eindhoven, I gave a talk on 3D-printed fashion as part of this year’s theme, Phygital — the intersection of the digital and physical worlds.
I explored how a garment can move from digital model to machine-readable code and finally become something physical and wearable. Using examples from pioneers such as Iris van Herpen and Danit Peleg alongside my own work, I showed different approaches to 3D-printed fashion, from modular structures to printing directly onto textiles.
For me, that continuous exchange is what makes 3D-printed fashion truly phygital: digital becomes physical, and physical experience informs the next digital iteration.
